Job Description
As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Three Rivers TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support a secure environment through strong communication and professionalism. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and deliver customer-focused service while helping to deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or authorization document visitor activity and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents alarms and unusual situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas gates and perimeter points to observe conditions and report security-related concerns operational issues and/or hazards.
- Support screening and checkpoint operations for vehicles materials and personnel in accordance with site policies and industry-specific requirements at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
