Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Stockton CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government location where you will help monitor entry points screen visitors and belongings and support a professional welcoming this role you will remain visible assist with routine security-related procedures and provide strong customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and court personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures access screening activities and/or emergency response actions when appropriate.
- Screen entrants and personal belongings at designated access points using approved screening equipment and established post procedures and report prohibited items and/or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site leadership and/or public officials.
- Monitor entrances lobbies and other assigned areas to help support orderly access verify authorization where required and follow established visitor processing guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter noting unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
