Job Summary
IliuliukFamily & Health Services (IFHS)isseekinga highly motivated and skilledAdvanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)to providelocum tenens coveragefor the community of Unalaska/Port of Dutch Harbor and the Bering Sea fishing fleet. IFHS is anFQHCthat also provides24/7 urgent and emergent care serving a remote island community with a wide range of medical needs.
This position requires an APP with a strong clinical background excellent patient care skills and the ability to work bothautonomouslyandcollaborativelywith a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a rural setting and confident managing patients ofall ageswith both primary and acute care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Providecomprehensive primary careandacute careto patients across the lifespan
- Deliverurgent and emergency careas part of a 24/7 oncall rotation
- Work independently while collaborating with physicians nurses and other providers
- Adapt to arural resourcelimitedhealthcare environment
- Support the medical needs of island residents and the commercial fishing fleet
Requirements
- CurrentAlaska license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- CurrentDEA license
- CurrentBLS ACLSandPALScertifications
- Current ATLScertification
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort with autonomous practice
