We are currently looking for a proactive & hands-on

Production Planner

to join our team at our plant in Vondelingenplaat.

As our new Production (Multisite) Planner you review and prioritize open sales orders and forecasts against production capacities and schedules. You ensure customer and production requirements are met while maintaining optimal inventory levels across our facilities. This role is mainly based in Vondelingenplaat with occasional workdays in Zaandam or Central Post.

In this role you help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently every day.

Your responsibilities are:

• Compile data and translate customer demands into production planning with input from cross-department teams including Production Customer Service Inbound/Outbound logistics and PLM

• Daily quantity control and plan stock movements of raw materials intermediate products a/o packed and bulk oils packaging materials and by-products with optimized storage utilization

• Create and publish optimal daily schedule and instructions for production

• Coordinate the production capacity of the plant with production management adjust planned quantities and priorities accordingly

• Work closely with Customer Service and Logistics team to resolve product supply and delivery issues and ensure optimal efficiencies and synergies

• Manage additive a/o packaging material demand planning and call off contracts at suppliers via Production Assistant

• Coordinate with production/quality department for trials/tests

• Align with Maintenance - and Production department on periodic repair and maintenance activity windows for storage and production equipment to realize reliable and appropriate planning

• Keep track of production progress and planning related indicators seek continuous improvements

• Strong communication to relevant departments (Inbound/Outbound logistics CS PLM etc)

• Clear updates about supply chain status to production team

• Close alignment with the Production Planner Zaandam to cover during absences

Who are you

To excel in this role you should demonstrate a hands-on and problem-solving way of working. Besides that you are stress resistant and a strong communicator.

In addition you bring:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in logistics or related field

• Commercial abilities and understanding

• Proficient in English and Dutch German is a plus

• Proficient in MS Office and planning software
