Maintenance planner and logistics supervisor (FT)
Bristow Netherlands is currently looking for a Technical Records Administrator to join our team.
Bristow Netherlands operates a fleet of three Leonardo AW189 helicopters from bases in Den Helder and Midden Zeeland. The helicopters are primarily used for Search and Rescue operations for the Netherlands Coastguard. The continuing airworthiness of the fleet is managed by Bristow Netherlands CAMO located in Den Helder. This role reports directly to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager
The Maintenance planner and logistics supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the maintenance of the managed helicopters is timely performed and in accordance with the aircraft maintenance program and instructions provided by the CAMO. The Maintenance planner and logistics coordinator liaises with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate inbound and outbound material movement to ensure timely availability of materials.
Maintenance planner and logistics supervisor acts as back-up storekeeper during absence of the storekeeper and Maintenance Manager.
Role description/responsibilities
- Efficiently plan maintenance based on aircraft maintenance program in coordination with the maintenance organisation(s) and flight operations to achieve best possible utilisation of the helicopter fleet
- Prepare long term and short-term planning
- Maintain maintenance staff roster
- Order scheduled maintenance the application of directives modifications replacement of service life limited parts and component inspections
- Collaborate with production planner(s) on establishment of maintenance workpack
- Verify that all aircraft maintenance is performed within due time and in according to issued maintenance orders
- Calculate and define time limits for utilisation of helicopters and maintenance based on current customer requirements aircraft utilisation and resources Monitor aircraft utilisation to ensure accurate maintenance planning
- Monitor deferred maintenance and aircraft defects
- Coordinate inbound and outbound material movements
- Closely work together with Supply Chain on material availability and shipments Monitor upcoming material requirements and adapt planning as required Support Bristow Netherlands CAMO department with airworthiness management tasks
- Document and update work procedures
- Assist the CAMO department in preparation for audits
- Acts as back-up storekeeper during absence of the storekeeper
Skills and qualifications
- Must be Self-Motivated/Self Starter
- Motivated to provide a high standard of work
- Organised and accurate approach
- Approachable and collaborative to both internal and external staff members Ability to manage priorities and focus on the key issues under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Visionary with drive and desire to achieve a higher performing organization Knowledge of relevant EASA regulations (Part-145 / Part-CAMO)
- Strong Communication Skills with the ability to articulate summarize and present information clearly to audiences with different backgrounds and at different levels of the organization and external stakeholders
- Weighing alternatives considering both short and long term effects and then being resolute in the decisions they make
- Affinity with computer applications and have the ability to learn new systems and processes
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and preferably MRO systems (Ramco) Good verbal and written skills in English (and preferably also Dutch)
Experience
- Candidate shall have a secondary education (MBO) as a minimum
- Five years relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position (preferably CAMO/145 planning and logistics)
- Knowledge of helicopters preferably Leonardo AW189 gained through a formalised training course
