Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for analyzing defining and documenting business requirements ensuring alignment between technology solutions and organizational needs. This role works independently on medium to high complexity initiatives collaborating with key stakeholders and technical teams to deliver efficient high-value solutions.
Additionally the role actively contributes to process improvement facilitates analysis sessions and supports project execution within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate business needs identifying opportunities for improvement through technology solutions.
- Elicit document and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops interviews and working sessions with users and stakeholders.
- Perform gap analysis risk assessment and define current and future states.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and project teams to define and manage the backlog.
- Translate requirements into artifacts such as user stories use cases process flows and functional documentation.
- Manage requirement changes ensuring proper traceability and validation.
- Participate in defining acceptance criteria and ensure they are met.
- Design and execute test plans and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate that implemented solutions meet business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with development QA and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as an escalation point for functional issue resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and document solutions.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and up to date.
- Promote best practices standardization and continuous improvement in analysis processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience in requirements elicitation and management.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
