Summary of the Position: Youth Advocate Programs Inc. is seeking dedicated and qualified professionals to join our Berks County team. As a Behavior Consultant/Mobile Therapist you will provide therapeutic and consultative services to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges across home school and community settings.
This is a hands-on position providing therapeutic services to children youth and families.
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy and behavioral consultation using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with families educators and other professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Observe clients in various settings to inform intervention strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet evolving needs
- Opportunity for licensed supervision is available.
Position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Masters degree in counseling psychology or social work or related field is required.
- Licensed staff as a Behavior Specialist (LBS) LPC LSW LCSW LMFT preferred.
- Experience providing therapeutic services to youth and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with participants families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in using data collection tools and software applications.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite; Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is a plus.
- Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage and willingness to travel within assigned region.
