Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care (CCU/ICU)

Specialty: Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit

Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (07:00 PM 07:00 AM)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Desired Location: Syracuse New York

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses (RN) to support adult ICU units in a high-acuity hospital setting. Candidates will be assigned to units based on experience and must be comfortable working in fast-paced complex critical care environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in adult ICU/CCU settings
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and critical care interventions
  • Monitor and manage critically ill patients including ventilated and high-acuity cases
  • Administer medications and manage IV therapies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately in the EMR system

Key Requirements:

  • Active New York RN License (required)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU/critical care experience (within the past 2 years)
  • Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers or similar-sized acute care facilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and orientation
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epic EMR experience
  • Prior experience in high-acuity ICU environments
