Were looking for a Producer to join No Parental Guidance on a maternity cover contract. Youll understand what the brand stands for honest relatable and unfiltered conversations about family life and bring sharp editorial instincts creative energy and a passion for content that truly connects. If youre excited by storytelling community and creating content that resonates with parents wed love to hear from you.

Your Role: As a Producer on No Parental Guidance youll play a key role in shaping and delivering the shows content bringing fresh relevant editorial ideas that reflect the realities of modern parenting.

Youll be hands-on across the production process attending shoots supporting recordings and working closely with the hosts to develop engaging conversation-led episodes. Building a strong working relationship with talent will be key helping to create a comfortable environment where honest unfiltered conversations can thrive.

Alongside this youll take the lead on researching and pitching episode ideas ensuring content stays topical relatable and aligned with the shows voice. Youll also support the wider team in delivering episodes from concept through to publication maintaining high editorial standards throughout.

Working closely with the Commissioning Editor and Channel Manager youll help refine content using performance insights while collaborating with editorial and production teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and on schedule.

Day to day you will:

  • Support the delivery of our flagship vodcast format and contribute to its ongoing growth

  • Work with the Commissioning Editor on content planning and development

  • Oversee guest bookings sourcing and coordinating relevant and exciting talent

  • Assist with pre-production filming and post-production processes

  • Write briefs scripts and episode outlines

  • Support on set during recordings helping manage talent and ensure smooth shoots

  • Write engaging copy for episode publishing and promotion

  • Pitch and develop new content ideas

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality social and supporting content

  • Liaise with commercial teams on sponsored content where required

  • Podcast & Culture Savvy: You understand the podcast and digital content space with a genuine interest in parenting family life and the funny chaotic moments that come with it. You know how to turn these real-life experiences into engaging relatable and often hilarious content.

  • Digital Native: You have a solid understanding of what works online particularly on YouTube and social platforms and how content should be tailored for each.

  • Creative and Curious: You bring fresh ideas love exploring new angles and are always looking for inventive ways to engage audiences and grow formats.

  • Comedy Minded: You have a knack for spotting and shaping moments of humor in everyday parenting turning them into content that resonates and entertains.

  • Collaborative: You enjoy working as part of a team and building strong relationships across editorial production and talent teams.

  • Organised: You can manage multiple tasks keep on top of deadlines and ensure production workflows run smoothly.
