Role Summary
A reputed residential school in Nainital is seeking an experienced and dedicated PGT Economics Teacher to handle senior secondary classes. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise experience teaching Grades 912 and the ability to contribute to both academic and co-curricular development in a residential school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics to students of Grades 9 to 12.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum requirements and NEP guidelines.
- Conduct assessments assignments and periodic evaluations.
- Encourage analytical thinking and conceptual clarity among students.
- Use smart boards and digital teaching tools effectively.
- Participate in co-curricular and residential school activities.
- Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students.
- Maintain records of student progress and academic performance.
Skills & Qualifications
- MA in Economics with (Mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as PGT in a reputed school handling Grades 912.
- Residential school experience preferred.
- Knowledge of NEP and modern teaching practices preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications and smart board teaching.
- Interest in sports games or co-curricular activities preferred.
