Job Summary


Americas Future is seeking a full-time DC-based Community Engagement Manager tosupport the organizations operations digital presence and growing national network.

This is a junior-to-mid-level role (3 years of experience) designed for someone who isboth highly organized and people-oriented. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurialdetail-oriented and excited to contribute to a fast-paced startup-style nonprofitenvironment.

This is a one-year contract role in conjuction with the Koch Associate Program (KAP) with the potential to transition into a full-time long-term position.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Actively engage with Americas Futures audience across digital platforms
  • Build and maintain relationships with community members fellows and partnerorganizations
  • Support outreach and coordination with partner organizations for events andprogramming
  • Help foster a strong welcoming and high-energy community in Washington DC

Digital Marketing & Content Creation

  • Support the execution of social media strategy across platforms includingFacebook Instagram X LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Collaborate with the CMO to plan and create content including event promotionsfellowship marketing and community storytelling
  • Create short-form video content (Reels/TikTok) and assist with real-time event coverage
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and audience engagement

Event Support

  • Support planning and execution of DC-based events including logistics run-of-show and on-site coordination
  • Manage and coordinate event volunteers
  • Ensure smooth execution and a high-quality guest experience

Operations & Office Management

  • Maintain day-to-day office operations including inventory supplies and generalorganization
  • Manage scheduling and usage of the Americas Future clubhouse space
  • Support the execution of recurring coworking days and in-office programming
  • Oversee donor and sponsor fulfillment including gift caging and distribution
  • Manage and maintain internal systems including Salesforce EventbriteSurveyMonkey and Mailchimp
  • Ensure accurate data entry organization and reporting across platforms

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant experience in operations marketing events or communityengagement
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and systems-thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with or willingness to learn tools such as Salesforce EventbriteMailchimp and SurveyMonkey
  • Comfortable creating video content
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for eventsIdeal Candidate

Role Details

  • Location: Washington DC (fully in-person with flexibility for one remote day per week)
  • Schedule: Full-time with occasional evenings and weekends required for events
  • Contract: One-year KAP role with potential for full-time hire
