Job summary:
We are seeking a New Business Specialist to join our New Business Team. This role supports a nationwide network of insurance practitioners by assisting with the intake preparation and processing of applications and related documentation. Success in this role comes from attention to detail teamwork and the ability to manage incoming work efficiently.
Lets talk job responsibilities:
- Review incoming insurance applications using checklists and guidelines to ensure required information is present before processing
- Enter application details into company systems and open cases to support timely processing by the team
- Assist with prepopulating applications based on provided information and flag missing or unclear items for followup
- Work closely with Case Managers and other internal teams to help resolve documentation questions or requests for additional information
- Confirm agent licensing and contracting status using existing systems and partner with the Licensing team when questions arise
- Order underwriting requirements help monitor their status following up on outstanding items as directed
- Communicate application and case status clearly and professionally with agents proposed insureds and internal team members
- Support policy delivery and maintain organized electronic files by completing imaging filing and other routine administrative tasks
Your experience and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 02 years of experience in administrative customer service or support roles insurance experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow guidelines and check work for accuracy
- Comfortable working in a teambased fastpaced environment with changing priorities
- Able to manage time effectively meet deadlines and handle confidential information appropriately
- Demonstrates a customerfocused mindset with a helpful solutionoriented approach
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Maintains a positive friendly and professional demeanor when working with customers and colleagues
