Job Summary

Position Overview

Reporting to the President/CEO the Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) is responsible for planning organizing and managing all aspects of the Human Resources (HR) function. This role partners with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organizations business objectives.

Key responsibilities include leading initiatives in talent acquisition employee engagement retention organizational development performance management and compensation and benefits. The VP of HR provides strategic and operational guidance to leadership ensuring HR programs effectively support the agencys mission and workforce needs.


This position directly supervises the Human Resources Manager and the Benefits Manager.

  • Serves as a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team on organizational development workforce planning and HR-related initiatives.
  • Supports the development implementation and ongoing improvement of HR policies programs and practices.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal leaders employees and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintains and updates HR policies procedures and guidelines to reflect current best practices.
  • Leads the execution of HR initiatives that support the organizations mission vision and values.
  • Develops and implements HR strategies that align with operational and organizational goals.
  • Promotes a positive and inclusive organizational culture that supports employee engagement and retention.
  • Partners with executive leadership on leadership development and succession planning efforts.
  • Identifies organizational risks related to workforce issues and implements appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Participates in compliance reviews audits and training initiatives.
  • Oversees recruitment and retention strategies to ensure workforce needs are met.
  • In partnership with the Chief Financial Officer leads the design and administration of competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits programs.
  • Provides leadership and oversight of core HR functions including talent acquisition employee development performance management and HR operations.
  • Participates in organizational committees including compliance-related efforts as needed.

Will require work in all agency locations (Concord Laconia & Wolfeboro).


This is NOT a remote work position but may be eligible for work from home as outlined in the Agencys guidelines.


Expected Hours of Work

The employee will be scheduled to work Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm. Work assignments may include holidays.

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific abilities include reading writing and speaking in English normal or correctable vision with the ability to accurately discern colors and hearing.
  • This position requires the ability to use a computer to document patient care. Specific abilities include use of fine motor skills to type write and perform professional skills.
  • This position requires intermittent physical activity including standing walking bending kneeling stooping and crouching.
  • This position requires the ability to minimally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • This position requires the ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Requirements
  1. Bachelors degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience required.
  2. 7 to 10 years of progressive Human Resource leadership experience to include experience working in a healthcare organization.
  3. Progressive leadership experience managing building and inspiring teams
  4. Valid drivers license reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record.
