Job Summary:
The Industry Programs & Operations Specialist will support the Industry Specialist Teams within the organization assisting with their needs and advancing the goals of the ISTs and Acrisure.
High-level responsibilities involve assisting with processes and procedures associated with managing IST operational activities Division Industry Leadership and Advisory Council orientation IST membership facilitation aligning and promoting industry trade sponsorships and events and driving other industry-specific solutions.
This role serves as a strategic and operational anchor for the Industry Specialty Teams (ISTs) ensuring they are equipped aligned and empowered to advance organizational goals. Acting as a central connector across leaders members and external partners this position drives the processes communications and initiatives that keep each IST running smoothly and effectively. From managing membership activities guiding advisory councils to coordinating national industry events facilitating meetings and supporting sales and marketing efforts this role blends operational excellence with relationship stewardship. It requires a proactive detail-driven professional who can balance strategic insight with hands-on execution champion industry needs across the enterprise and elevate the visibility and impact of the ISTs through thoughtful coordination communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
Help advocate for industry experts to ensure their needs are represented in enterprise initiatives.
Assist with market analysis.
Help develop and maintain key performance indicators and associated scorecards for the industry.
Assist with preparation of IST reports and executive summaries.
Develop orientation processes and documentation for new Division Industry Leaders National Industry Leaders and Advisory Council members.
Logistics Management
Manage IST member applications logistics and subsequent new member checklists.
Manage Auris IST user groups to maintain membership integrity.
Update and maintain the membership directory communications lists and Advisory Committee roster for each IST ensuring it reflects new members accurately.
Maintain and moderate IST Teams Chats to ensure the conversation is productive and focused on collaboration.
Coordinate national industry trade association and conference sponsorships strategy and follow-up ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
Manage national industry IST invoice coordination.
Assist with internal communications and external sales engagement campaigns and activities.
Serve as the secondary contact for key strategic external stakeholder relationships.
Co-manage IST planning boards.
Meeting Facilitation
Develop and maintain standardized IST membership and advisory council agendas.
Send appropriate meeting invites and manage distribution of handouts minutes and other applicable meeting materials driving a proactive approach to meeting planning.
Coordinate with the IST leads and other accountable parties to track and follow-up on meeting action items.
Assist with ad hoc industry event and education planning.
Sales Enablement & Marketing
Serve as the liaison to Marketing for social media client newsletter and client advisor communications.
Be a collective voice and liaison to Marketing for new and revised sales collateral and marketing merchandise.
Requirements:
Self-motivated driven possessing a keen ability to interact with leaders effectively across the organization.
Demonstrated administrative computing skills including Microsoft Office (MS Project Visio Word Excel and Power Point).
Strong organizational skills attention to detail and willingness to serve as team facilitator.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills fostering a cohesive working environment.
Ability to work independently take initiative to lead projects and collaborate effectively within a team.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively using Acrisure technology to drive efficiencies.
Ensure the methodical execution of the quality of IST activities.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to travel to all offices client offices and events as needed.
Knowledge of risk management or insurance industry is preferred Proficiency in web content management systems and video editing software preferred.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
3 years of professional or administrative experience.
Proven experience in planning client relationship management and process improvement.
Applied EPIC or similar agency management software experience preferred.
