Position Overview
Were looking for a highly organised clear communicator and people-person to join our marketing team as Global Marketing Manager. This is a role with real ownership youll be the engine behind Mad Monkeys influencer programme Creator Hub managing the full pipeline from first outreach to final content delivery.
Youll handle a high volume of concurrent relationships up to 50 influencer stays per month which means your ability to communicate clearly follow up proactively and stay on top of multiple threads simultaneously is absolutely essential. Alongside influencer ownership youll contribute to wider campaign ideation and support the team with creative thinking across broader marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Influencer Sourcing & Outreach
- Proactively identify and research influencers who are a strong fit for Mad Monkey across Instagram TikTok and YouTube with a focus on travel lifestyle adventure and backpacker content
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective influencers at all tiers nano micro mid-tier and macro using a mix of platform search social listening and inbound applications
- Send clear personalised and on-brand outreach messages that communicate the Mad Monkey programme compellingly and concisely
- Manage the full response pipeline following up with prospects fielding inbound enquiries and qualifying creators against programme criteria (engagement rate audience fit content quality follower count)
- Maintain an up-to-date sourcing tracker logging all prospective influencers outreach status and outcomes
2. Programme Management & Coordination
- Manage all influencer relationships from confirmed partnership through to post-stay content delivery this is the core of the role
- At any given time you will be coordinating up to 50 influencer stays per month across multiple properties and regions exceptional organisation and multi-tasking is non-negotiable
- Send clear detailed briefing documents to each influencer ahead of their stay covering:
- Dates property details and what is included in their stay
- Content deliverables platform format quantity and deadlines
- Brand guidelines key messages and hashtags
- Points of contact at the property
- Follow up regularly and proactively throughout the process do not wait for influencers to come to you
- Chase and log content deliverables once stays are complete ensuring creators fulfil their agreed commitments
- Keep a master influencer database that is accurate current and easy for the wider team to navigate
3. General Manager Liaison & Property Handover
- Act as the key bridge between the marketing team and General Managers (GMs) at each property ensuring every influencer arrives to a team that is prepared informed and ready to deliver a great experience
- Send clear timely briefings to GMs in advance of each influencer stay including:
- Influencer name handle audience size and content focus
- Agreed stay inclusions and any special arrangements
- Expected content output and key messages to communicate on-property
- Any specific requests or sensitivities to be aware of
- Be the point of escalation if anything goes wrong during a stay communicating quickly and calmly to resolve issues between the influencer and property team
- Gather post-stay feedback from GMs to assess the quality of each influencers visit and contribution
- Build strong trust-based working relationships with GMs across the region so that influencer stays are seen as a positive well-managed initiative not an operational burden
4. Content Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor and log all influencer content as it goes live capturing links screenshots and performance data (views likes reach saves shares)
- Compile monthly influencer performance reports that give a clear picture of reach content volume and programme health
- Flag high-performing content to the Social Media team for repurposing or amplification
- Track programme KPIs and contribute to a monthly summary for the wider marketing team highlighting wins gaps and recommendations
- Maintain an organised content archive so that influencer-generated assets are easily searchable and accessible
5. Partnership Agreements & Programme Structure
- Manage both paid and stay-for-content partnership agreements clearly communicating what is on offer and what is expected in return for each type of partnership
- Draft and send clear simple partnership terms to each influencer before their stay is confirmed ensuring both sides have agreed expectations in writing
- Support the development of tiered partnership structures as the programme scales identifying when influencers should be elevated to a deeper paid relationship based on performance
- Handle all financial admin relating to paid partnerships raising POs tracking invoices and flagging payments to the relevant team
6. Campaign Support & Ideation
- Actively participate in marketing team brainstorms contributing ideas for campaigns influencer activations and creative concepts
- Identify influencer talent who could anchor or elevate specific global campaigns (seasonal events new property launches brand moments) and flag them to the wider team
- Support the planning and execution of influencer-led campaign activations such as takeovers co-created content series or event-based coverage
- Bring fresh thinking to how Mad Monkey can use creator marketing in new and unexpected ways we want ideas from everyone regardless of seniority
7. Trend Awareness & Programme Development
- Stay up to date on influencer marketing trends emerging platforms creator economy shifts new content formats and whats working for hospitality and travel brands
- Monitor competitor hostel brands and travel companies to see how they are using creator partnerships bringing relevant learnings back to the team
- Suggest improvements to the programme structure briefing templates and communication workflows as you learn what works at scale
- Identify recurring issues or friction points in the influencer journey and proactively recommend solutions
