Supply Chain Summer Intern
Location: Newton NC
Departments: Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations
Duration: Summer Internship (1012 weeks)
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
About the Role
Were looking for a motivated Supply Chain Summer Intern to support data cost and supplierrelated projects. This role is ideal for students pursuing Supply Chain Logistics Packaging Engineering or related degrees who enjoy working with data and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities / Projects
- PFEP (Plan for Every Part): Collect and consolidate part data from multiple sources.
- Cost Estimate Workbook: Build an easy tool to calculate packaging needs packaging cost freight cost and cost per unit using part dimensions and weight.
- Supplier Allocation Analysis: Review supplier workloads by quantity and complexity to support better allocation decisions.
Qualifications
- Currently working toward a degree in Supply Chain Packaging Engineering or related field.
- Strong Excel skills (formulas pivot tables data cleanup).
- Comfortable working with data and performing basic analysis.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detailoriented organized and able to work independently.
