Job Summary
The Prime team is seeking a Senior SDE to lead a team of talented engineers and a team takes great pride in both the technical and business contribution of the work. You will be given the chance to have a significant impact on our systems our business and most importantly our customers. As a member of the Prime team you will work closely with the business team to design and implement new features you will use a variety of core languages and technologies including Java and Linux to name a few design and build highly scalable services in order to bring the Prime experience to a large variety of Amazon business.
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company Amazons package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
