Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Louisville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced distribution location where you will help support a secure environment through screening duties monitoring assigned areas and managing access activity. This role offers the chance to stay visible provide outstanding customer service and communication and contribute to daily operations with agility reliability teamwork innovation and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control activities and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals bags packages and/or other items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and escalation protocols.
- Respond to incidents suspicious activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observations to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and document visitor employee and/or delivery activity to help support organized site operations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas including interior work spaces shipping and receiving zones and perimeter locations as directed by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
