As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Hagerstown MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail-related location where you will serve as the front desk presence greeting visitors managing access and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and customer this stationary role you will help create a welcoming environment while responding to questions and documenting activity. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors associates and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols for the location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification checking in guests issuing badges or visitor credentials and/or maintaining front desk logs and records.
• Respond to incidents questions and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership first responders and/or Allied Universal management when appropriate.
• Support front desk operations by answering phones directing foot traffic documenting activity and reporting unusual behavior maintenance concerns and/or policy-related issues through proper channels.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining a professional presence at the reception area and following emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
