Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Inpatient Pediatric Float Pool role. The RN will provide high-quality care across multiple pediatric units including support to behavioral health areas in a medical pediatric capacity (no psych responsibilities).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive pediatric patient care in an acute care setting
- Float across multiple pediatric units and departments as needed
- Perform accurate patient assessments planning and interventions
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Maintain proper documentation using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 1.52 years of recent acute care pediatric experience
- Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center
- BLS Certification (required)
- EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
- Strong clinical communication and interpersonal skills
