Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) PCU / Step-Down (MSDU)
Location: Rochester NY
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Medical Step-Down Unit (MSDU). This role involves providing high-quality patient-centered care to adult patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level critical care support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a step-down/PCU environment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
- Administer medications including IV therapies and titrated infusions
- Manage patients requiring respiratory support including oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergencies using rapid response/code protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
- Follow infection control and isolation precautions
- Ensure patient safety comfort and quality care at all times
Required Qualifications:
- Active New York RN License (in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in PCU Step-Down or Med-Surg setting
- BLS Certification required
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
