Job Summary

Staunton City Schools located in historic Staunton Virginia in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley is seeking highly qualified applicants for a CTE Family & Consumer Science or Agricultural Science Teacher at Staunton High School for the 2026-2027 academic school year.

In this role you wont just be teaching from a textbook; youll be facilitating hands-on learning by incorporating the greenhouse. This role is designed for an educator who can bridge the gap between the classroom and the professional world by preparing students for industry credentials. While additionally developing partnerships with local hotels restaurants and tourism boards to provide students with internship or job-shadowing opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university. Candidate mustpossess or be eligible to possess aprofessionallicenseissued by VDOE with an endorsement to teachcareer technical education.

200 Day (10-month) Contract beginninglate July 2026.

Salary Range: $53033 to $82172 (based on 2025-26 Salary Scale).
