Description

As a Global Demand Planning Director reporting to the IMC Senior Director Global Planning you will be responsible for developing coordinating and aligning volume & revenue forecasts for assigned businesses and or channels. You will ensure that regional sales forecasts are visible planned and supported through the supply chain while delivering customer satisfaction and improving inventory and working capital year over year.

You will have the responsibility for supervising a team of demand planners located in multiple geographies. Partnering with you SBG COE and SMEs to drive standard processes and ensuring adherence to the Honeywell Global Design Model for Demand Planning and ensuring the full utilization of the Kinaxis Rapid Response demand planning tool. You will coach and develop your team to continuously improve their skill set and prepare them for future progression within Honeywell.

This position will interface with sales marketing and finance organizations utilizing statistics sales projects and market intelligence to develop a rolling 18-month SKU level demand plan. You will work with finance to enable comparison and gap analyses between the demand forecasts and business financial goals. This position is the linkage between sales forecasting marketing programs and manufacturing bringing closer alignment to the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning Process. The successful candidate must be able to apply lean six sigma techniques to continuously improve processes and metrics.

This job will be based in Charlotte NC or Houston TX on a hybrid schedule.



Responsibilities

Facilitate global and regional demand planning meetings to capture input from marketing sales and customer service organizations.

Validate or adjust the baseline statistical forecasts to reflect the regional sales leaders input including won/lost customer demand other inputs on customer and competitor behavior.

Review CRM/ data with sales teams to determine appropriate adjustments that reflect un-forecasted demand patterns.

Document major risks and assumptions in the demand plan including the coordination of new products projects promotions events and/or customer planned activities.

Document all upside demand not modelled into the forecast.

Capture Financial AOPs Latest Estimates and SRO data.

Develops a volume and value$ demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation with a min of 12-18 months time horizon.

Understand and document gaps between Consensus Demand Plan and AOP/LE/SRO scenarios.

Work with Sales & Marketing to provide root cause analysis and corrective actions to continually improve demand forecast accuracy.

Facilitate LOB/GBE Consensus Demand Review meetings.

Capture escalations for discussion in the Reconciliation & Exec SIOP meetings.

Partner with SIOP process team and supply planners to facilitate maximum customer satisfaction stakeholder satisfaction and financial performance.

Partner with the SBG COE team to adopt Honeywell GDM policies and procedures.



Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in Demand Planning operations planning/scheduling materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area.

Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse SAP APO module).

Bachelors degree in business administration engineering operations management marketing or supply chain management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Ability to work with large amount of data and knowledge of advanced analytics tools- Tableau/Power BI (Reports development)

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task prioritize and delegate.

Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers.

APICS CPIM CPSM or CPF certification preferred
