Werelooking for a reliable and approachable Site Security & Amenities Operative to join our growing Estates and Security team supporting the safe and smooth operation of our school facilities during after-school activities and external lettings.

This is a hands-on people-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys being active on site providing excellent customer service and playing a visible part in keeping our school community safesecureand well supported.

This is a newly created role within our evolving Estates and Security structure designed to strengthen on-site supervision and support as our school continues to grow and develop. Alongside this post we are also recruiting a Security & Amenities Managerand a Security & Amenities Supervisor creating a small dedicated team focused on maintaining a safe welcoming and well-managed site for our school community and external users.

The Role

As a Site Security & Amenities Operativeyoullwork within a shift pattern under the direction of the Security & Amenities Supervisor providing on-site security and facilities support during evenings and weekends.

Your role will include:

• Carrying out regular site patrols and security checks including monitoring access points and exits

• Monitoring site activity and appropriately challenging unsafe or unacceptablebehaviour

• Acting as a friendly and professional point of contact for external lettings users

• Supporting setup and takedown of roomscourtsand pitches via the helpdesk

• Ensuring facilities are left safetidyand secure at the end of activities

• Monitoring litter debris and playing surfaces including frost or moss build-up

• Supporting car park management and traffic flow whenrequired

• Managing lost property

• IssuingcolleagueID cards following HR approval

• Conducting external security patrols

• Monitoring and reporting on the swimming pool in line with agreed procedures

This role requires flexibility including evening and weekend working to ensureappropriate securitycoverage across the school year

Werelooking for a reliableprofessionaland customer-focused individual who takes pride inmaintaininghigh be confident working independently and as part of a team calm under pressure physically active and committed to safeguarding health and safety at all in a security or facilities role is helpful but notessentialthe right attitude and approach are key.
