What Youll Do (Day to Day Job Duties)
- Assemble multi-component parts accurately to customer specifications ensuring zero defects.
- Execute all stages of the assembly process including staging assembly and final inspection.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality while meeting production deadlines.
- Coordinate daily activities with the Assembly Supervisor to support workflow and priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely job completion.
- Follow detailed job instructions including customer-specific requirements and clean room protocols when applicable.
- Maintain a clean organized workstation including tools benches and surrounding work areas.
- Adhere to shift changeover procedures to ensure continuity and efficiency.
Your Impact (CORE Responsibilities)
- Deliver high-quality assemblies that meet or exceed customer expectations for mission-critical components.
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks ensuring accuracy completeness and adherence to all specifications.
- Serve as a reliable team contributor adapting to evolving priorities and supporting critical deadlines.
- Communicate proactively with leadership and cross-functional teams regarding progress delays or challenges.
- Uphold strict quality standards by partnering with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrate accountability and commitment including flexibility to work overtime when required to meet business demands.
- Contribute to a culture of precision teamwork and continuous improvement within the Assembly department.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- 13 years of experience in a manufacturing mechanical assembly or production environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to error-free work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and visual acuity for precision assembly tasks.
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict quality and safety standards.
Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)
- Technical training or certification in manufacturing mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Experience in a precision manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Familiarity with clean room assembly and packaging procedures.
- Experience working with mission-critical or high-tolerance components.
