Role Summary
We are looking for a Data Architect to partner with business stakeholders and lead the design of a scalable analytics and reporting platform on Azure. This role focuses on translating business KPIs into robust data models enabling enterprise reporting and building a futureready data foundation for digital and ecommerce analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to shape the data and analytics roadmap.
- Translate business requirements and KPIs into technical data models and schemas.
- Define and implement the reporting and aggregation layer ensuring separation from OLTP systems.
- Build scalable data models and computation layers using Azure SQL Synapse and Microsoft Fabric.
- Design and maintain a scalable ingestion frameworkfor sources like Google Analytics Algonomy Bloomreach Emarsys and future data sources.
- Design the semantic layerto enable consistent and selfservice reporting.
- Implement observability monitoring and data qualityacross the platform.
- Build KPIs for app performance user engagement and ecommerce funnel analytics.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in data architecture analytics modeling and reporting systems.
- Handson expertise with Azure data platforms(Azure SQL Synapse Fabric).
- Experience designing data ingestion frameworks and semantic layers.
- Solid understanding of digital and ecommerce analytics.
- Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with largescale consumer or ecommerce platforms
- Exposure to customer analytics or personalization platforms
