Position Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daytoday service operationsin the Chicagoland and surrounding areas (Romeoville) with a strong focus on executing large service andprojectbased work. This role provides leadership and support for field servicetechnicians embedded technicians and the next generation of talentparticipating in our Flex Tech program. The Service Manager plays a key role instaffing mentoring and developing service personnel while ensuring qualityexecution and customer satisfaction.

This position is based in Indianapolis with local travel tocustomer sites as needed during normal business hours. A clean driving recordis required. This role offers a competitive compensation plan along withexcellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate dailyservice operations.

Provide leadership and oversightfor large service projects including planning staffing execution and issueresolution.

Support and manage embeddedtechnicians assigned to customer facilities.

Collaborate with projectmanagement sales and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements aremet.

Assist with staffing onboardingand ongoing support for field service technicians.

Actively mentor and develop nextgenerationfield technicians participating in the Flex Tech program.

Identify staffing needs andsupport hiring efforts for open service and technical roles.

Monitor workload resourceutilization and technician availability to meet customer and project demands.

Promote and enforce safetyquality and company standards across all service activities.

Provide regular updates on serviceperformance project status and operational challenges.

Foster a positive teamorientedculture focused on development accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications &Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentrequired; technical degree or continued education preferred.

10 years of experience in fieldservice industrial automation or technical project execution.

Prior experience leading orcoordinating technicians or service teams strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of industrialautomation instrumentation controls or related service environments.

Excellent communication skillswith the ability to work effectively with customers technicians and internalteams.

Strong organizational and problemsolvingskills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiplepriorities and support both shortterm service needs and longterm projects.

Willingness to work overtime asbusiness needs arise.

Must be willing to travel locallyand maintain a clean driving record.

Must be legally authorized to workin the United States.
