Overview

Weare seeking anAccount Managerto join our Corproate Affairspractice.This is amid-levelposition where youcanplay a leading role in day-to-day account activity and contribute to a broad range of proactive and reactive issues-oriented projects.

Weseeksomeone with the ability and eagerness to juggle multiple responsibilities inside and outside traditional work hours. Candidates with a corporateor public affairs backgroundandstrongexperience supporting crisis and reputation management projects are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support a range of corporate and crisis communications situationsincluding cybersecurity/ data breach issues product safety issues and recalls employee misbehavior NGO campaigns litigation investigative reporting and more.
  • Serveasa member of the teammanaging issues as theyarise.
  • Work with the team to develop and draft GAP analysis crisis plans media strategies FAQs memos crisis simulationsand other deliverables.
  • Oversee and execute proactive media outreach and reactive media relationsstrategies.
  • Assistin providing strategic counsel on messaging and communications to help inform client strategies and recommendations.
  • Oversee and executeissuesmanagement and crisis campaigns for clients.
  • Oversee and execute public affairs advocacy and education campaigns for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client affairs and trends to counsel clients on breaking news and socially or culturally sensitive topics.
  • Support the development of crisis response strategies reactive statements FAQs and other deliverables as needed.
  • Keep client programs on schedule and ensure all deadlines are met within budgetparameters.
  • Participate in new business development for thegroup.

Qualifications

  • Account Managers at Allison typically have a minimum of5years ofrelevant experience in an agency/strategic consulting firm political campaign law firmor similar setting.
  • Crisis communications background and understanding of corporate communications and issues management bestpractices.
  • Skilled media relations strategist and practitioner with top-tier media relations experience
  • Thrives under pressure and can handleunpredictable deadlines and evolving clientexpectations.
  • Exercises exceptional judgment when working with clients team membersandvendors.
  • A strategist that communicates analytically and persuasively both orally and in writing
  • Big picture perspective and adept at solving problems and resolvingconflicts.

  • Comfortable and knowledgeable working in Microsoft Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to take direction ask clarifying questions and follow through on required deadlines.
  • Proficiencyin using media monitoring and data analytics tools likeMuckrack Critical Mention Meltwater and Cision.
  • Proficiencyin using Adobe Canva and other design tools.

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is$72K-$108K. Actualcompensation is influenced by a wide array of factorsincluding but not limited to skill set level of experience and location.
