Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Assistant Manager International Business to support and drive export sales growth across international role involves identifying new business opportunities developing relationships with overseas customers and distributors participating in international exhibitions generating leads through trade intelligence platforms and supporting the complete export sales cycle from enquiry generation to order execution.
The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to international B2B sales export business development and overseas customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Export Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets particularly across Africa the Middle East and Asia.
  • Generate leads through market research trade databases referrals and industry networks.
  • Engage with distributors consultants contractors hospitals and institutional buyers.
  • Follow up on enquiries and convert opportunities into business.

Market Research & Lead Generation

  • Utilize VOLZA and other trade intelligence platforms for buyer identification import-export analysis and competitor tracking.
  • Track healthcare infrastructure projects tenders and procurement opportunities across target markets.
  • Develop and maintain a database of prospective customers and channel partners.

Customer & Distributor Management

  • Support the onboarding and management of international distributors and channel partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Coordinate product presentations virtual meetings and business discussions with overseas stakeholders.

Quotations Tenders & Proposals

  • Prepare quotations commercial proposals prequalification documents and tender submissions.
  • Support RFQs EOIs and project-based export opportunities.
  • Coordinate with technical and commercial teams for proposal preparation.

International Exhibitions & Travel

  • Represent the company at international trade fairs exhibitions conferences and business networking events.
  • Travel internationally for customer meetings distributor visits and market development activities as required.
  • Generate and nurture leads obtained through exhibitions and industry events.

CRM & Internal Coordination

  • Maintain CRM records and update sales activities opportunities and customer interactions.
  • Generate periodic MIS reports sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
  • Coordinate with engineering production accounts and export documentation teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Eligibility
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Commerce Marketing Engineering International Trade or a related field.
  • 36 years of experience in Export Sales International Business Development or Global B2B Sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and CRM platforms.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Experience using VOLZA or similar trade intelligence platforms.
  • Exposure to international customer interactions and export sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for exhibitions customer meetings and business development activities.
  • Experience in preparing quotations proposals and tender submissions.
Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare infrastructure medical equipment engineering products industrial equipment or project exports.
  • Understanding of export documentation INCOTERMS Letters of Credit (LC) and international trade procedures.
  • Exposure to distributor management and channel development.
  • Knowledge of ISO CE or international compliance standards will be an advantage.
