About the Opportunity:
We are hiring adesign-systems-focusedSeniorUI/UXDesigner to lead the next evolution of the Evinova Design System. This is a hands-on role for a designer with exceptional UI and interaction designskills craft in visual designdeep systems thinking and a strongtrack recordofcraftingdesign systems in complex multi-product environments.
You will work at the intersection of design and engineering shaping reusable components patterns tokens and governance that support consistency accessibility speed and scale across products. We are looking for someone who can move confidently between high-quality design execution anddesignsystem architecture and who can drive alignment between Figma and coded implementation.
As a member of the Futures Team you will help define the next generation of design system practices tooling and workflows at Evinova.
Key Responsibilities:
Drivethe evolution of the design system across multiple products includingcomponentstrategy governance adoption and ongoing improvement.
Partner with Design Engineering and Product to align on standards resolve system-level challenges and support clear decision-making.
Create and maintaincomponents patterns and libraries to drive usability consistency composability and efficiency across product experiences.
Prepare the design system for future-ready workflows including AI-enabled tools rapid prototyping and emerging design-to-code approaches.
Work closely with engineering to maintain alignment between design and coded components including tokens properties states and responsive behavior.
Embed accessibility into component foundations and day-to-day design decisions with WCAG 2.2 AA standards built in by default.
Create clear documentation usage guidance and release communications to support adoption and consistent use across teams.
Maintain a high bar for visual and interaction quality across components patterns and libraries.
Gather feedback identify gaps and help shape roadmap priorities to strengthen the design system over time.

Forward-thinking mindset: A designer who iscuriousand proactiveabout AI-enabled workflows and emerging tools and can help shape a design system that supports future ways of designing building and scaling products.
This role plays a foundational part in shaping how the Evinova Design System operates how design and engineering collaborate and how we establish the governance structures needed to support scale speed and quality.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experienceofcreating andmaintaininga design system in a multi-product environment including responsibility forcomponentstrategy governance adoption and ongoing evolution.
Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual UI and interaction designexpertise with clear systems thinking and examples of reusable componentsor patternswork in complex digital products.
Expert Figma Skills includingability to build and maintain design systems enforce consistency and manage workflows across cross-functional teams.
Experience working within design-to-code workflows with a practical understanding of how design artifacts map to implementation.
Understanding of evolving AI best practices emerging tools and automation trends with curiosity about how they can support design system workflows and product development.
Demonstrated experience delivering accessible products and embedding WCAG 2.2 AA standards into everyday design practice.
Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to drive alignment on design system decisions across Design Product and Engineering.
Proven ability to work independently and lead complex design system work in B2B or B2B2C environments.
Based in the Gaithersburg Maryland area with willingness to collaborate in office and travel as needed.

Experience in healthcare and/or digital health sectors
Experience designing AI-native recommendation or simulation products in collaboration with data science and engineering partners
Familiarity with clinical trials and the drug development lifecycle

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $127209.60 - $166962.60 pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience.
In addition our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical prescription drug dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
