JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Tech I position is designed to for someone with a broad range of skills that the refine over time to install troubleshoot repair or decommission a large range of CNC mechanical electrical and hydraulic equipment.
JOB DUTIES:
- CNC machine troubleshooting (electrical mechanical & hydraulic) not programming or computers other than testing standard connectors etc.
- Electrical wiring
- Drive Servo troubleshooting
- Hydraulics Pneumatics Basic HVAC troubleshoot/repair
- Piping
- Rigging
- Welding Steel Fabricating
- Machinery installation and/or modification
- Design & creation of various fixtures and/or jigs used in production or quality department
- Grind room equipment maintenance & wheel replacement
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and ovens per P.M. schedule.
- Other tasks as requested
- Experience with Six Sigma
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to grasp manipulate or assemble objects.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capability of working from verbal instructions.
- Engage in a team environment to resolve issues.
- Show initiative and have the ability to work independently on primary responsibilities.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn the use of calipers micrometers and load test equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use power tools/hand tools.
- Ability to read/understand blue prints and wiring schematics (training provided).
- OSHA10 preferred training provided if needed.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift/move and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and/or walk 8 hours per day
- Use of one or both hands grasp move or assemble objects
