They are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager who wants to move away from a processing environment and into a role with genuine client ownership. Based in Truro you will be working with a diverse portfolio that includes some of the regions most ambitious entrepreneurs large family-owned groups and high-growth sectors like renewable energy and tourism.
The Role
Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients taking responsibility for both high-level compliance and complex advisory projects.
Advise on a range of technical matters includingcapital allowances group restructuring and succession planning.
Act as the primary point of contact for your clients building long-term relationships and understanding their commercial goals.
Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by the wider team ensuring technical accuracy and identifying planning opportunities.
Support the Partners with business development initiatives and mentor junior staff to help them progress technically.
About You
Qualified (CTA) with a strong background in corporate tax within a practice environment.
Experienced in managing a client portfolio and comfortable dealing directly with business owners and Finance Directors.
Technically sound with a broad understanding of UK tax legislation and a proactive approach to identifying tax-saving opportunities.
A clear communicator who can translate complex tax jargon into practical actionable advice for clients.
Someone who enjoys the collaborative nature of a regional office and is keen to contribute to the growth of the Truro team.
