We are currently seeking Maintenance Staff/ Housekeeping support 100% who can help care for the hotel and maintain it to excellent standards. This post requires that you are both practical and have a thorough understanding of technical solutions.
Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorgethas245rooms and we have an occupancy of approx 80% in a full year. Together with the housekeeping team and reception team you are the glue that keeps the house together.
Curious to know more about the role
- Day-to-day operation of the building.
- Comply with all rules and regulations related to the safety and operation of the hotel.
- Help out housekeeping team
- Pick up and help with delivery of laundry to housekeeping
- Manage suppliers and ongoing service agreements together with the Housekeeping and Technical Manager
- Day-to-day maintenance including everything from painting and repairs to care of outdoor areas.
- You understand that the needs of the guest take priority and ensure all the hotel facilities and related features are always available.
- You work as sustainably as possible.
- You are flexible around working schedule. - Working days and hours will be arranged as needed Both evenings and weekends.
Does this sound like you
- You have a technical background with experience of operational management of complex buildings.
- You have a flexible approach enjoy solving problems and can be available at short notice.
- Experience from housekeeping is a plus
- As well as being flexible we are looking for a positive outlook excellent communication skills diligence and a hard-working approach.
- You must be organised methodical and clear.
- Experience in hotel maintenance is a plus.
