Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a collaborative Respiratory Care team. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented professional with strong clinical expertise in respiratory therapy and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (required)
- Strong clinical knowledge in respiratory care practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Flexibility with scheduling including weekends
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients
- Assess treat and monitor patients with respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams
- Operate and manage respiratory therapy equipment
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and support critical care needs
Scheduling & Expectations:
- Weekend shifts required (frequency varies typically every other weekend)
- On-call requirement:
- Up to 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule (up to 4 per contract)
- Maximum of 1 call shift per week
- Call hours for night shift: 4:00 PM 8:00 PM only
- No call responsibilities after 8:00 PM
- Limited requested time off (RTO); holidays not guaranteed
