Were looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Global Ethics Office Team at this role you will support the administration of the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (CoBC) program. This role plays a critical part in fostering a strong culture of ethics by managing daytoday operations maintaining policies and training conducting comprehensive conflictofinterest reviews and serving as a trusted subject matter expert for employees across the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Review validate and assess disclosure statements to identify actual or potential conflicts of interest and coordinate with employees to clarify information and obtain required supporting documentation.
Identify and escalate complex highrisk or conflicting disclosures to appropriate stakeholders for review and resolution.
Conduct supplemental research using internal and external sources to support disclosure evaluations.
Ensure the accuracy completeness and integrity of compliance records and documentation.
Prepare analyze and reconcile reports to ensure data accuracy completeness and timeliness.
Maintain and update disclosure questionnaires guidelines SOPs process narratives translation documents and other related documentation.
Act as the subject matter expert for the CoBC platform or application including providing user support and performing basic system administration.
Administer the CoBC platform or application as well as related SharePoint sites or repositories.
Serve as the primary point of contact for CoBCrelated inquiries issues and requests by managing the group mailbox.
Support the review maintenance and enhancement of CoBC policies training materials and related documentation.
Support the planning execution and completion of annual and newhire CoBC campaign launches.
Contribute to the development implementation documentation and continuous improvement of CoBC processes and workflows.
Identify process inefficiencies and gaps and support automation simplification and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide support for ad hoc projects and other compliancerelated tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of relevant experience in ethics compliance risk management internal audit or a related discipline.
Basic understanding of the regulatory environment in which the Company operates with familiarity with key compliance concepts.
Moderate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel including the use of formulas i.e Pivot Xlook Up Vlook up
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail sound judgment and the ability to manage sensitive information and navigate complex cases effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
College graduate preferably with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or another business-related degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of conflicts of interest and conduct risk.
Comfort engaging with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
Experience with compliance disclosure and casemanagement tools (e.g. Convercent and EQS).
Knowledge of and experience with data analytics and visualization tools including Power BI Power Query and Power Automate.
Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration and documentmanagement tools.
Knowledge of the financial services industry including insurance and/or securities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to represent the business internally and externally within the organization.
Ability to perform assigned tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Solid technology skills including knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn applicable compliance or business systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
