TITLE:Plumber Foreman
SALARY RANGE: $41.67 hourly

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
This Plumber Foreman position supervises journeyman work in the assembly installation maintenance and repair of gas water air steam oil and sewerage plumbing systems. This position is responsible for layout schedules and work assignments.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

Inspects for compliance with Building Code regulations and for quality of workmanship.
Gives special instructions and is responsible for making sure that tools and supplies are available as
needed.
Reviews work orders specifications blueprints sketches and drawings.
May estimate job costs and advise on purchase of material and equipment.
Interviews and instructs new employees.
Keeps payroll records.
Schedules vacations.
Prepares performance ratings.
EXAMPLES OF REQUIRED KNOWLEDGES SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

Knowledge of:
Lay out and organize work.
Methods tools equipment materials and supplies used in the
trade.
Plumbingsection of the Building Code.
Safety practices.
Ability to:
Maintain good work practices anddiscipline.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have four years experience as a Journey Level Plumber plus a City of Cincinnati Journeyman Plumber License.
MILITARY EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE EVALUATION:
Military education and experience may be substituted for college level course work at the lower and upper division baccalaureate and graduate levels and apprenticeship training at the vocational certificate level on a case by case basis based on the American Council on Education (ACE) Military Guide recommendations.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Drivers License.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD:
One year.
