Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemistry Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in chemical analysis product formulation and quality control processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemistry principles and a passion for applying scientific knowledge to real-world industrial challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting chemical analyses and testing of raw materials intermediates and finished products using various laboratory instruments and techniques.
- Support the development and optimization of product formulations under the guidance of senior chemists.
- Participate in quality control testing to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
- Collect record and analyze experimental data accurately and maintain detailed lab notebooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to support ongoing projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to chemical processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and project progress.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Materials Science or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of analytical techniques such as spectroscopy (UV-Vis FTIR) chromatography (HPLC GC) titration and wet chemistry methods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Previous laboratory experience or coursework involving chemical experimentation is preferred.
