Job Title: Java Developer - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 6 Months

Job Description:
As a Java Developer you will design develop and maintain full stack enterprise applications that support complex business processes and high performance systems. You will translate detailed business requirements into scalable technical solutions contribute to cloud based microservices architectures and collaborate closely with cross functional teams to deliver secure reliable and maintainable software in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain full stack applications using Java and Spring Boot on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks on the frontend.
Lead development of scalable secure and high performance solutions using Java based technologies.
Collaborate with product owners architects and cross functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
Design develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third party services and platforms.
Build responsive and user friendly UI components using modern frameworks such as Angular React or Vue.
Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines containerization and automated testing.
Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies within iterative delivery cycles.
Analyze design document implement and test software solutions based on detailed user stories.
Identify recurring issues and design reusable scalable components to improve maintainability.
Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to team members.
Ensure accurate documentation collaboration and timely completion of development tasks.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

Minimum 8 11 years of experience as an application developer delivering enterprise solutions.
Strong proficiency in Java Spring Spring Boot Hibernate and JPA.
Extensive experience with microservices architecture and cloud deployments.
Solid front end experience using Angular React or Vue with HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong database experience with Oracle SQL Server and exposure to NoSQL technologies.
In depth understanding of RESTful APIs JSON and web service integration.
Experience with message queuing technologies such as IBM MQ or similar platforms.
Strong DevOps experience including Git Jenkins Maven Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of modern security and authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0 SAML OpenID Connect and JWT.
Experience with test driven development and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Selenium.
Familiarity with Playwright testing platform is desirable.
Proven experience working in Agile Scrum Kanban or hybrid delivery models.
Strong problem solving debugging analytical communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
