Job Title: Network Engineer II
Location: Louisville KY (Hybrid 3 to 5 days a week onsite preferred)
Engagement: 12 mo. contract
Rate : $60 to $65
Role Overview
We are seeking a strong Network Engineer II to support complex operational needs and lead technical efforts across project initiatives. This role is suited for an experienced engineer who can work independently on advanced networking tasks while continuing to grow into a Senior/Level III position. You will play a key role in troubleshooting deployments and contributing to the evolution of the network environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and escalation handling
- Perform configuration and deployment across core networking platforms
- Participate in project initiatives and network enhancement efforts
- Contribute to design discussions and continuous operational improvements Qualifications
- Strong experience with enterprise routing switching and firewall technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple layers
- Proven configuration deployment and change execution skills with minimal oversight
- Familiarity with segmentation security best practices and enterprise architecture concepts
- Experience contributing to design discussions and mentoring junior engineers
- Highly self-driven organized and capable of owning issues end-to-end
