Job Title: Unified Communications Monitoring Integration Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 06 months

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Range: $95 to $100

About the Project

Our organization is a large Cisco Unified Communications (UC) environment with extensive CUCM and CUC deployments. We currently rely on IR Prognosis for UC monitoring but have recently deployed LogicMonitor as our enterprise wide strategy.

We are seeking an experienced contractor to help us fully transition from IR Prognosis to LogicMonitor-before our IR Prognosis renewal in August-resulting in significant operational and financial savings.

What We Need

We have strong internal LogicMonitor and UC engineering teams capable of executing the technical lift. What we lack is the expert advisory and integration expertise needed to:

• Guide the integration of Cisco UC systems with LogicMonitor.
• Ensure proper approach architecture and best practices.
• Build meaningful dashboards for our Voice Operations team.
• Assist with webhook/API-based integrations (Microsoft Teams etc.).
• Advise on replacing all IR Prognosis capabilities in LogicMonitor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full transition of UC monitoring from IR Prognosis to LogicMonitor.
• Define the integration strategy and provide architectural direction.
• Configure monitoring collectors and alerting for Cisco UC environments.
• Develop custom LogicMonitor dashboards for UC/Voice Ops teams.
• Implement webhook- or API-based alerting integrations (e.g. Teams).
• Collaborate with internal LogicMonitor and UC engineering teams.
• Validate compatibility and ensure full functional coverage prior to IR Prognosis deprecation.
• Provide documentation and handoff for ongoing operational support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Deep experience with LogicMonitor particularly with custom UC monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco UC technologies (CUCM CUC).
• Prior experience migrating from IR Prognosis (highly preferred).
• Ability to build custom dashboards and monitoring views.
• Familiarity with Teams/Slack webhook integrations APIs HTTP based events.
• Background as an SRE systems integrator DevOps engineer UC engineer or similar.
• Strong advisory and communication skills-able to guide internal teams on approach and best practices.

Nice-to-Have

• Previous work in healthcare IT environments.
• Experience with large enterprise deployments.
• Familiarity with multi-vendor UC monitoring.
