Captain instructor for University Officer Training Corps OCdts. Delivery of individual sub-unit training programmes in a Ph1 setting with particular emphasis on leadership training.
This post would suit an enthusiastic junior officer with relevant experience of leadership and an understanding of training. Opportunity to work as a specialist instructor aligned with individual SQEP.
Support planning and delivery of UOTC syllabus and unit training plan as tasked by the CO/XO.
- Plan organise and deliver training as directed by the OC or XO.
- Lead mentor and develop OCdts within Coy through being an exemplary role model.
- Plan organise and administer additional training as directed by the Commanding Officer.
- Maintain discipline and standards whilst nurturing the social and moral development of OCdts.
- Conduct additional support activity aligned with skill set.
- Identify and demonstrate personal and professional development opportunities for self and others.
- Provide advice and support to OCdts looking to conduct further military service in either the Regular or Reserve Force.
