Supplier Quality & Development Manager São Caetano do SulSP

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven leader to join our Supplier Quality & Development organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring world-class supplier performance driving continuous improvement and strengthening our supply base to support GMs business and product excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities solid automotive industry experience and a passion for developing people and fostering innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead influence and develop cross-functional and supplier-facing teams to achieve quality delivery and performance targets.

• Drive supplier development initiatives continuous improvement programs and risk mitigation actions across the supply base.

• Act as a role model for GMs values promoting a culture of accountability collaboration and innovation.

• Serve as an innovation ambassador encouraging new ideas digital solutions and best practices within the organization and with suppliers.

• Support strategic sourcing and program execution through strong technical quality and business alignment.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure sustainable results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering (post-graduate degree is desirable).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or related sectors.

• Proven experience in leading people and influencing teams including indirect leadership.

• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.

• Solid understanding of supplier quality manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience or strong knowledge in Artificial Intelligence Data Analytics Digital Transformation or advanced data-driven tools to support decision-making performance monitoring and process optimization.
