Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst / Data Engineer with strong experience in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building optimizing and managing data pipelines ensuring data quality and supporting business insights through advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Work with large datasets to extract transform and load data efficiently
- Develop and optimize data workflows using Spark Kafka and Python
- Collaborate with business and tech teams to understand data requirements
- Perform data analysis to support business decisions
- Ensure data integrity security and compliance within banking systems
- Write optimized queries using SQL & NoSQL databases
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Analytics
- Mandatory experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Apache Spark
- Apache Kafka
- Python
- Expertise in ETL/ELT processes & data pipeline architecture
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with data warehousing concepts
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of big data ecosystems
- Understanding of data governance and compliance in banking
