About the position
The Senior Administrative Officer (HEO6) delivers high-quality operational organisational and project coordination support to the Managing Director (MD) of the La Trobe AI Institute. The role is focused on enabling the MDs external leadership and supporting the Institutes internal alignment by establishing reliable processes and systems ensuring consistent and disciplined delivery and coordinating complex stakeholder activities across research education industry engagement and University operations.
This position is responsible for developing and improving administrative workflows coordinating projects and events involving multiple stakeholders and managing reporting and documentation for governance bodies including the AI Institute Management Committee External Advisory Panel. It also undertakes light environmental scanning such as maintaining a forward calendar of key AI events monitoring competitor and sector activity and preparing concise briefings to support the Institutes external positioning and program delivery.
