You will assist tenants visitors and staff with clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants employees contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a commercial real estate setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors common areas and the perimeter observing for unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations and reporting findings per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing initial assistance and coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials directing visitor traffic and monitoring deliveries and service vendor activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation using Allied Universal and/or client systems as required and communicate status updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
