Job Summary
The Alexa Endpoints Media Team delivers a multi-device media experience across all Alexa-enabled endpoints. We build the player that handles music podcast and audiobook playback for Alexa devices whether its a single device in the living room a dozen devices spread throughout the house playing in sync or a dynamic Home Theater of Echo Studios. Working on this team gives you the opportunity to contribute to a feature enjoyed by millions of customers and a strategic part of our expansion throughout the customers home.

* Deliver high-quality software in a dynamic team-focused Agile/Scrum environment.

About the team
Within the Alexa Endpoints Media Team the Device Group Management team is specifically responsible for building software that delivers low-latency low-cost highly reliable and highly scalable cloud services. These services interact with our Alexa devices to power seamless multi-device experiences for customers across their homes.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
