Job Summary
Our client is the prime of a sole source contract. They are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSE) to provide hands-on proactive ownership of the cybersecurity posture of their role involves developing implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualified candidates will have:
-A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field
-A minimum of 7 years of experience in information systems security
-In-depth knowledge of information security principles practices and regulations
-Proficient in reading scans
-Proficient in working cross functionally to mitigate scans
-Experience with POA&Ms
-Proficient with working with a team and ISSM to achieve accreditation
-Experience with a large environment that has multiple domain/enclaves not a flat environment
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Clearance: Active TS/SCI FS Poly required
This work is 100% onsite in Ashburn VA. It requires an active TS/SCI FS Poly government addition to strong salaries they provide 100% employer paid Medical and Dental Insurance as well as provide an HRA to cover deductibles. They offer 4 weeks PTO 10 federal holidays and a 3% 401K with the potential for up to 10% matching.
