We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect with SAP integration experience including deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration (CPI) API Management Event Mesh Open Connectors and BTP application architecture. You will lead integration strategy design scalable architectures govern integration patterns ensure best practices and guide implementation teams across complex SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC and hybrid landscapes

Your Role
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect with SAP integration experience including deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration (CPI) API Management Event Mesh Open Connectors and BTP application architecture. You will lead integration strategy design scalable architectures govern integration patterns ensure best practices and guide implementation teams across complex SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC and hybrid landscapes
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise integration strategy using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Conduct architectural workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into integration solutions and architectural decisions.
- Present architecture recommendations and future-state roadmaps to leadership.
- Architect end to end integration flows (A2A B2B B2G Cloud-to-On-Premise).
- Define and govern integration patterns (synchronous asynchronous event-driven streaming).
- Design high-performing Cloud Integration (CPI) IFlows with reusability error handling and security.
- Create architecture blueprints solution design documents and integration roadmaps.
- SAP BTP Integration Architect solutions using a combination of:
- Cloud Integration (CPI)
- API Management
- Event Mesh
- Integration Advisor
- Open Connectors
- B2B Mappings (EDIFACT ANSI X12)
- SAP BTP Kyma / Cloud Foundry services (optional)
- Define API proxy layers policies throttling rate limiting and security models.
- Implement event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh and queue/topic strategies.
- Lead integration design between:
- SAP S/4HANA (Public/Private Cloud)
- SAP ECC
- SAP CRM EWM TM MDG SuccessFactors Ariba Hybris IBP
- Non-SAP systems (Salesforce Workday Third-party platforms)
- Define connectivity setups (BTP Cloud Connector OAuth SAML mTLS).
- Establish integration development standards guidelines and reusable frameworks Own versioning documentation and integration lifecycle governance.
- Perform architecture reviews and sign-off of functional/technical design.
- Ensure compliance with security GDPR SOX audit and BTP policies.
- Work closely with functional teams enterprise architects and security teams.
- Drive integration testing (SIT UAT) performance tuning and production readiness.
- Provide troubleshooting support and root cause analysis for integration issues.
Skills
- Must have experience in SAP integration specifically in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Strong proficiency in:
- SAP CPI (IFlows groovy scripts adapters)
- OData/APIs REST SOAP RFC IDoc EDI
- SAP BTP API Management
- SAP Event Mesh
- Integration Advisor & B2B/EDI Integration
- SAP Cloud Connector destinations trust configuration
- Hands-on in security standards: OAuth2.0 JWT SAML mTLS PGP encryption.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA business processes across SD MM FI PP QM.
- Experience with DevOps & CI/CD for BTP (Transport Management Service Git-based workflow).
- Deep knowledge of integration patterns (EIP) microservices & event-driven designs.
- Expertise in cloud architecture scalability API-led connectivity and hybrid landscapes.
- Ability to create HLDs LLDs sequence diagrams and integration architecture maps.
