Job Summary
L.K. Jordan is seeking a dedicated individual for a Parts Counter Sales Representative. This full-time role involves assisting customers with their door hardware and related product needs both in person and over the phone. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while utilizing their knowledge of doors and building materials to help customers find the right products for their projects.
Pay rate: $18.00
Schedule: MondayFriday from 7:00am - 4:00pm
Responsibilities:
Engage with customers who visit the showroom or contact us by phone providing prompt and courteous service. Assist customers in identifying the doors hardware and materials they need.
Utilize inventory and order management systems to create accurate customer orders. Ensure orders are processed efficiently and sent to the warehouse or production team for fulfillment.
Develop a general understanding of doors frames hardware and related building materials. Use product catalogs and resources to expand knowledge and assist customers effectively.
Demonstrate excellent phone communication skills when interacting with customers. Clear and professional communication is essential for understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
Utilize Microsoft Outlook for email communication and assist with general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of doors hardware construction materials or related industry preferred
Must pass background and drug screen
Ability to read and learn from product catalogs specifications and manuals
Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for email communication
Experience with inventory or order management systems preferred
Strong phone communication and customer service skills
Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
