DescriptionAbout the Opportunity
We are looking for a Dispatch Support Specialist who will facilitate same-day deliveries across the whole US including Dispatching Runs Communicating with Cross-Functional Teams and Daily interaction with Driver Agents.
What youll do:
- Dispatch deliveries in assigned markets and create efficient routes given driver schedules customer needs and service level due times.
- Display mastery of the CXT dispatch system.
- Communicate directly with customers via phone and email in order to resolve issues quickly while maintaining a calm professional tone both verbally and in writing
- Display mastery of Dialpad and Zendesk our telephone and ticketing systems
- Provide direct efficient communication and immediate feedback to drivers
- Achieve on-time delivery metrics of 90% for all markets assigned.
- Provide positive ongoing feedback to General Managers City Managers and Supervisors regarding driver supply needs and the performance of specific drivers.
- Learn your market(s) ensuring full comprehensive knowledge of clients drivers and specific needs of the market.
- Be available to work assigned shifts with flexibility to work through shift changes as needed including weekends and holidays.
RequirementsRequirements:
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to master new software technologies and eager to learn and adapt to changing market conditions
- Demonstrated ability to run operationally efficient projects and teams
- True passion for logistics and the execution of rigorous business practices
- Knowledgeable on Google Office Suite and Zendesk
Tools & Platforms:
- Slack Internal team collaboration
- Google Suite Document and file management
- Zendesk Ticketing and support platform (training provided)
- DialPad Internal phone system (training provided)
